Description

VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO
1967 ~ Verve ~ V6-5008 ~ Gatefold ~ Stereo
 Original First Issue with Torso Cover,
Peeled Banana Sticker, & "Lawsuit" Sticker on Back

VINYL : Fair : Very well spun with many surface marks and a few scratches.

Classic LP is not shot but has been enjoyed many, many times.


COVER : VG+ :
3.5" split on top seam/back at opening edge + 1.5" split at spine.  3" center split on bottom seam. Major ring wear and shelf wear. Moderate yellowing. 
Sticker on back covers naked torso (moderate shelf wear on sticker).

INNER SLEEVE: Original Verve (generic).

LABELS: Name written on side two. 

NOTES: Original back cover with the offending torso photo
is mostly covered by a large shiny black sticker.
These black stickers appeared briefly in 1967
before the back cover photo was altered.
Sadly the yellow banana sticker originally on front is missing.




Records have been carefully sight-graded but NOT play-graded.
