Description

Up for grabs is an ORIGINAL ultra-rare copy of the Velvets' proto-punk classic "White Light/White Heat"/"Here She Comes Now", on Verve Records VK 10560. This single was issued only in America and on offer here is one of the handful of promo versions sent out to DJs.

Condition is EX (Record Collector grading), some barely discernible hair scratches caused by removal of the record from its sleeve, and a couple of minor scuffs on the flip - you can see these in the photo. Plays GREAT, but the damn thing is so impossibly scarce you probably won't want to.

Labels are spotless bar the release date (11/27/67) which has been faintly handwritten in blue biro on the bottom right of the A-side's centre-hole.

The record has been part of my collection for some 20 years; unhappily due to other commitments I now have to say goodbye to this and other rarities...a good home wanted, please!
