Description

Here we have an original British pressing of the seminal album White Light/White Heat by Lou Reed's Velvet Underground on the Verve label. The Stereo pressing is numbered SVLP 9201 and the triple flipback cover bears the legend File under POPULAR : Pop Groups. It's also a Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending by the way, or so it says at the bottom. The dead wax matrices are V6 5046 A-2 & B-1. There is small evidence of play around the centre holes. The cover is superb with very minor wrinkling to the laminate which you may see in the first picture. A clean sounding copy of a very dirty recording, in all, a real bloody noise. Ask about postage and insurance, I'll send Worldwide. This is a real gem.
