Description

Artist/Group:   THE VELVET UNDERGROUND

                                     

Title:   “White Light / White Heat”

 

Label:   VERVE.  Label is blue with silver text.  Stereo pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Catalog number is V6-5046. 

 

Date:  1968. 

 

Personnel: 

 

Lou Reed – vocal, guitar, piano

John Cale – vocal, electric viola, organ, bass guitar

Sterling Morrison – vocal, guitar, bass guitar

Maureen Tucker - percussion. 

 

Condition: 

 

DISC:  Vinyl is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  Appears to have been played one or two times at most, and handled with care.  Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb. 

 

JACKET  (not laminated):   Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++.  Front panel is very clean, with only a few slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear at top center and bottom center.  Slight wear is visible at the corner tips.  Seams and spine are intact, with a few minor traces of wear along the bottom seam.  Reverse is clean, with a few minor traces of ring wear.  No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other problems.  Overall a very fine jacket to accompany the superb disc.
