Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

AMAZING CUSTOM COVER = FRENCH ONLY BARCLAY ORIGINAL!

HEAD OVER HEELS PSYCHEDELIC GUITAR EXPERIENCE!

THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE

Are You Experienced?

\ FRANCE - BARCLAY - 0820 143

! SUPER RARE ! "ORIGINAL" ....contains the old '60s FLIPBACK seams....

Highly collection worthy (see details) 45 year old FRANCE-ONLY issue with the most AMAZING custom cover pop-art cover and obviously the way this ocopy plays, contains not only high sonic sound quality - but also - following the British '67 release, three different songs were added and has a different track listing from the American issue; "Red House", "Can You See Me" and "Remember" were not on the U.S. pressing but are presented here...

A popular "party" record in the sixties, most copies like this one, are found thrashed or in less than desireable condition in current days...This 45 year old artifact of the sixties psych scene has been played a lot, but the way it sounds, it still makes for a valuable collectible.

Jimi Hendrix Experience 1967 first album was an instant classic, and... is as startling today as when it first hit the streets in 1967. ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? is probably the most rock-oriented of Hendrix's official studio releases, but its influences are incredibly diverse. "Third Stone From The Sun" recalls the supple octaves of acid trips psychedelia... the churning tribal polyrhythms of "Manic Depression" evoke John Coltrane; "I Don't Live Today" employs ritualistic Native American drumbeats; and the title tune borrows the Eastern airs of sitarist masters...all enveloped with sonic rushes of magic fingered feedback frenzies...

Jimi Hendrix - lead vocals, guitar, backing vocals (track 1), handclaps (track 6), voice of "Star Fleet" (track 9), piano (track 11)
Noel Redding - bass guitar backing vocals (tracks 1, 8, 14)
Mitch Mitchell - drums, tambourine (tracks 4, 7, 10, 13), backing vocals (track 6), cowbell (track 13)

Side one

"Foxy Lady" - 3:22

"Manic Depression" - 3:46

"Red House" - 3:53

"Can You See Me" - 2:35

"Love or Confusion" - 3:17

"I Don't Live Today" - 3:58

"May This Be Love" - 3:14

"Fire" - 2:47

"3rd Stone from the Sun" - 6:50

"Remember" - 2:53

"Are You Experienced?" - 4:17

CONDITION: The Cover: fragile and delicate, the amazing pop-art cover has the old '60s style flipback seams and shows past visible light handling, which is minor, little line near lower pocket opening which is minor, so still display worthy VG+ and not nearly as much as the usual copy IF ever found at all ... with strong original colors...only the 2nd time we've EVER had.

The Vinyl: lots of little fine scuff lines, visual inspecting closely "VG" [but] make no mistake, nothing deep, so plays much in the excellent audio zones...some random light crackle but pretty amazing ...no groove wear, vibrant dynamic jams & has clean Barclay labels

A cool addition to anyone's music library!
