Offered for Sale: Alex Sanders: 'A Witch is born'. UK Vinyl (LP Record).
About This Album: The late Alex Sanders, was the founder of Alexandrian Wicca. He was once described by his biographer, June Johns, as a 'professional white witch'. This rare 1970 UK 3-track stereo LP, of mostly, spoken word, primarily features the initiation rites of a young Witch into Wicca. The gatefold picture sleeve, was originally sealed with an 'Adults Only' sticker. Upon objections from the A&M Head Offices in America, this album was very quickly withdrawn, either both for album content, and also for the pictures of naked 'Coveners', inside the gatefold. A & M, were a very mainstream record label. and 'A Witch is Born', was a surprising choice of publication for them

Album Cover: Gatefold sleeve, with photographic imagery, (featuring Alexandrian Wiccans listed above).
Album Cover Condition: Please see photographs. There is 'shelf wear', there are worn edges, showing 'white', and there are some small scuffs, and stains, and evidence of handling. Overall, however, there are no significant issues, and the photographs are an accurate representation.
Vinyl Condition: The vinyl itself is in very good condition. It was never played by myself, and shows signs of very minimal use, by the original owner. (The inner sleeve has age related tanning, and a tear).
