VERY RARE CRUISIN’ THE 50’S JERRY LEE LEWIS “WILD ONE / OLD BLACK JOE” CASB 002 78 RPM
This is CRUISIN’S own actual copy from their Archive,it is the one that they used for Demonstration purposes at the Rock Around The Jukebox Show in Rosmalen Holland - Jukebox Show in Hasselt Belgium and the Rockhouse Record Fairs in Eindhoven in 1996-7
You can see the reason why they used this copy from the scans - the A side label was badly marked in the pressing process so Cruisin' decided they couldn’t sell this copy and would use it as a Demo.
The A side: "Wild One" has some slight scuff marks, but sounds fantastic really bright and loud. The B side: "Old Black Joe" also has some light scuff marks, but has some crackles and pops hear and there - especially in the quiet intro. Considering how many times this record has been played at the numerous Jukebox Shows it has survived pretty well.
