Description
Here is a mystery album and despite lots of research I have found no information on it. It is in almost mint condition and the record looks as if it has never been played. I have emailed numerous record collectors and sent pictures but nobody has any information on this edition and it is not listed in any rare directory that I have seen.
The usual album for 1967 would have a Black label with a red spot RCA record label as I'm sure you will see in other listings. This one has a Orange Victor Label.
It is a 1967 copy (SF 7909) (LPS-3709) RCA Victor label. The record is etched with TPRS-1979-2E A1B on side 1 and TPRS-1980-2E A1G on side 2 in the center (just outside of the label).
In addition to that, the cover usual cover is a the photo of Jim Reeves, This is a sketch of him designed by Foster and Knowles. Again there is no information on this and nothing on the image file not on any website I have seen.
I cant find a single copy like this and no images what so ever. Any information would also be an advantage to me if you have any.
Is this a one off?
