Maybe played once on a Linn LP12 / Ittok / Troika, recorded to tape then stored away.  I knew the owner of this record from new and this is typical of the records in his collection.  You will NEVER find a better copy than this vinyl LP.

PLEASE NOTE, IMPORTANT:: I am more than happy to offer large postage discounts for multiple wins, after all, it’s the postage that deflates collectors enthusiasm for buying ‘on line’, however, as a seller on eBay I have to cover my costs.  For this reason it is vital that you wait for your invoice before paying for multiple items.  Once you have paid for an item, I package and post immediately, so if you pay for one, then pay for another one two hours later, there’s a good chance that the first one will already be packed and labelled, ready to post (if not already posted, in fact), in which case, I will be unable to offer postage discounts.  I am happy to delay the invoice for up to 5 working days if you are bidding on multiple items, beyond that, please send me a message to extend, so that I know what’s going on.

Postage and PACKING. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PLACING A BID

The Post & Packaging charge is NOT just  for the cost shown on the stamp of your package, when it arrives.  Hence ‘P AND P’, not just ‘P’.

I enclose all LP records in a self seal poly bag to protect against oil / solvent / fuel contamination as well as water deposits in transit and secure them between two stiffeners before sealing up the outer mailer to ensure maximum 'double pack' protection.  I mention this because ironically, if I were to just stick a stamp in the corner of an LP without packing it at all and charge nothing for P&P, I would get a 5 star rating for P&P automatically, (and please bear in mind that anyone not charging for P&P is simply adding the postage cost on to the start price / ‘buy it now’ price before hand – there’s no such thing as ‘Free postage’).  I pack very carefully and thoroughly, so I charge a fair price (no more than cost) for P&P. particularly as this cost is sometimes more than the winning bid of the record I am selling.  The fact that I clearly show the cost of P&P in my listings (and quite often offer a choice of postal services) should protect me from receiving less than 3 out of 5 stars for Postage & Packaging.  Unfortunately, it does not. I never had any complaints about P&P costs over the first 8 years I traded on eBay and no one ever left me less than 3 out of five stars for my P&P costs, not until Royal Mail increased their prices by 25% in April 2011.  Clearly the current resentment for the cost of P&P is aimed at them and should not be allowed to penalise us, the dealers.  If you are not happy with the cost of P&P as clearly shown in this listing, then please contact me regarding the P&P costs and I will fully explain how I reached the figure / sum shown as a ‘cost’ price (after all it may be a mistake / typo), so if you think the price is too high, please check before placing a bid on this item.  The cost of P&P must be taken into consideration as an integral part of the total cost of this item.  If you feel that once you have received this item (and understand that the P&P charge is for PACKING as much as it is for the cost of postage), and feel your mind shrinking to the point of leaving a star rating of less than 3 out of 5 for the cost of P&P, then understand that this will affect my eBay privileges for the next 12 months, which will ultimately lead to me and other record dealers not being able to offer records for auction at bargain start prices (as some of those privileges include the right to on ‘free listing days’, which are essential in the business of dealing records on eBay) then what you will end up with is just another ‘Amazon’, with no real possibility of a true bargain.  Consider this if you will and no offence to the majority of you who have a modicum of common sense and whose minds are large enough to understand simple economics.

I try to play grade as many records as possible, but it is not always possible to do this, so if you feel that any record you have purchased is not graded accurately, please let me know.  I offer a ‘no quibble’ refund on any item if you are not 100% happy with it, provided you have not left negative feed back before contacting me.  Records which have been ‘play graded’ have been done so in my home studio on broadcast quality equipment at a comfortable listening volume.  All equipment is professional grade and includes EMT turntables, Alice (BBC spec. mixing desk), Denon (professional) amplifier and Bose 802 (installation) monitor speakers.  You may have a more or less sensitive HiFi system than this, but I believe that it provides a fair ‘industry reference’ quality grading.  Of course grading will always be subjective to some extent, which is why I offer a ‘no quibble’ refund as outlined above, should you not agree with my grading.  By way of clarification, the RRPG grading descriptions are listed below:  I will on occasions use + and – signs to indicate a grading which falls between the following descriptions in order to give a more accurate idea of condition.

E.G. M- (near mint), EX+, EX-, VG+, VG-, G+.

M – Mint - Description: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EX – Excellent - Description: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG – Very Good - Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

G – Good - Description: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

F – Fair - Description: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

P – Poor - Description: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

B – Bad -  Description: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
