DF 203 ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSING WITH BLUE BLACK WHITE LABELCONDITION & GRADING: See the description & table below !
Please, see all the photos too because they are an integral part of the description.
All the records are first carefully visually graded in daylight and then play graded.
COVER:
Cloth & embossed gatefold cover is still in very good condition for his age.
With no writings (name, initials etc...) and no tears. Seams are nice.
So Front and back are VG+ despite 3 slight stains / inside of the gatefold is Ex with a records shop sticker.
RECORD: Visually there are surface marks, micros scuffs & few thin scratches here and there.
Side 1: a thin scratch on the first half of track 1 with "tics" during this part.
Surface noise and some tics here & there during the rest of the side.
The strings sound remains clear.
So side 1 = VG
side 2: surface noise but as often with old french DF pressings.
Generally some music lovers explain that the sound is better using a mono cartridge for these pressings.
But I did not test it myself.
There are scaterred crackings and tics on this side but the string sound is clear.
So i grade it VG to VG+
LABELS: side 1 VG+ because of an halo: side 2 is NM

ode traduction grading cover grading record S still sealed the record is still packed the record is still packed
M mint Cover and extra documents like lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. The record is in brand new condition, absolutely perfect.
EX or VG++ excellent The cover and packaging might have slight wear but excellent aspect overall The disc shows signs of having been played (slight marks), but the loss of sound quality is moderate. Breath, some cracklings & few tics can be heard on very sensitive turntables. VG+ very good + Cover shows some hanling imperfection like normal wear, price tag, cut hole, small writings, creasing, DJ or promo copy stamp or cut in the corner... Most common condition for records. The record has been played few times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality: Surface noise and crackles. Occasional tics. VG very good Cover suffers from folding, important writings, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration,… Now the signs of age and handling are starting to show. You can notice some clear wear on the surface, there is noise (pops and crackles) but no skips.
