Description
An unbelievably rare pair of BBC Pick of the Pops discs.
These were sent out with the syndicated Top Of The Pops shows during 1970 and 1971. They consist of one side of music tracks which appeared in Top Of The Pops (in mono), and the other side is a live concert - in STEREO! - unusual for the BBC at the time, and they were certainly not broadcast that way.
These two are even more unusual, as they have a two part Pink Floyd concert, introduced by John Peel, which was recorded on 30 September 1971 at the Paris Studios in London. The second part of the concert (27'00") is entirely made up of one track - 'Echoes' - the first time this piece had been broadcast.
As far as I can make out, this concert has not been released on CD, and the copies that are floating around may be off-air copies. The whole concert is not represented here unfortunately, two tracks were not used by Transcription Services, but the sound quality, and the rarity of the discs make this a must for any fan of Pink Floyd(or John Peel!).
The discs are in perfect condition, with only one scratch on track two, side one of 369, which actually hardly notices when you play it.

Overseas: (these rates are for one disc, I will find out what two discs will cost, it won't be much more) Europe Standard Airmail (insured to £39): £2.82, Rest of World: £4.49. For both: add £3.70 for signed for delivery, add £2.20 for insurance to £500.
