ULTRA RARE!!!! VERY difficult to find! Pressed on beautiful battleship gray-colored vinyl!!! France-only colored vinyl Audiophile pressing of the original Patti Smith Group, "HORSES"--their seminal and immensely influential debut album, produced by the remarkably talented John Cale of the Velvet Underground! This 1978 mega-limited edition from 1978 (of the 1975 album) is a beauty with manufacturer's custom removable promotional sticker affixed to the cover!  Released on the Arista label through PATHE MARCONI/EMI. It also includes the original French inner sleeve!  Patti Smith was (and still is) the punk princess of all she surveyed. Her original band lineup that was legendary: renown rock historian Lenny Kaye on lead guitar; Ivan Kral on bass; Richard Sohl on piano, and the Keith Moon-like Jay Dee Daugherty on drums. Songs featured on this must-have album are  "Gloria/In Excelsis Deo," "Free Money," "Redondo Beach," "Kimberly," "Land" and more.
