Hi Reggae Fans! PLEASE READ AS I HAVE REVISED THE DESCRIPTION BASED ON ADDITIONAL INFORMATION THAT HAS COME TO LIGHT. (Thanks folks - you now who you are!) You are bidding on not one but two of the hardest skinhead - titled tunes there are! This is a blank 45 with SKINHEAD TRAIN by THE CHARMERS on the A side and SKINHEADS A BASH DEM by CLAUDETTE AND THE CORPORATION on the B side!!!!! There is a matrix of TR EX 2043 on the A side and a matrix of TR GR 3020 on the flip. It is a white label with jamaican/US style large centre hole. The condition varies from VG+ to M- although the labels and some of the sleeves have yellowed due to bad storage. I have multiple copies (12) that I obtained from a collection of (mostly crap!) reggae and ska from a workmate who used to be a punk in the 80s. They have been gathering dust in his loft since 1990 . I originally advertised them as unknown origin/possibly Jamaican but I now believe they are bootlegs from the 1980s, possibly British although the vinyl itself certainly isn't. See the attached photographs. They are very similar indeed to the ones Dave Russell had in the 1980s (Skinhead Speaks His Mind etc) but the track listing is different so I don't think they are his work (correct me if I'm wrong!). Basically, you can either bid on this exact record to guarantee yourself a copy, or if you contact me directly with an offer I'll consider it (I'd prefer to sell through eBay for your peace of mind although you can see from my feedback of 193 that I am a decent seller - if you have bought from me before you will know anyway.) I want to sell the lot so I'm very flexible in that respect. Any queries please do contact me although I have included all the requested information that I was asked last time (matrix/source/condition/B side etc) that I currently have - any more would be appreciated.
