Description
The word "classic" is somewhat overused, but I have no hesitation in calling THIS album a classic. It is the rip-roaring rock 'n' rollin stonking 1957 first album by the one-and-only (the world couldn't handle two!) LITTLE RICHARD entitled "HERE'S LITTLE RICHARD". It is the FIRST PRESSING (Matrix suffix 1) on the purple LONDON label, cat#HA-O 2055. The triple flipback cover is in a fine Near Mint condition, the only real flaw being a small (about 1/2") split on the top edge. The labels are crisp, clean and unblemished, the silver text sharp and bright. The vinyl itself is very Near Mint, with only some light marks due to removal/replacement to the inner sleeve. There is a little (but only a little!) crackle on the run-in grooves but this will "play out" fine. Sound quality is superb. The track listing reads like a "greatest hits" album.. so many classic rockers on one album!
