HELLO AND WELCOME TO OLD.VINTAGE.RETRO ......

On offer is an extremely rare copy of the album THEIR SATANIC MAJESTIES REQUEST by THE ROLLING STONES.

This is the much sought after 1st pressing with the hologram cover.

"When viewed in a certain way, the lenticular image shows the band members' faces turning towards each other with the exception of Jagger, whose hands appear crossed in front of him. Looking closely on its cover, one can see the faces of each of the four Beatles, reportedly a response to the Beatles' inclusion of a doll wearing a "Welcome the Rolling Stones" sweater on the cover of Sgt. Pepper."

It is on the DECCA label and dates to 1967.

The matrix numbers are (side 1) ARL - 8126 - 1P and (side 2) ARL - 8127 - P1.

The disc has quite a few scratches and marks although I haven't got a record player so have no idea how it plays.

The cover and inner sleeve are in pretty good overall condition.

Rare chance to own an original copy of one of the greatest rock albums of all time!!

Hopefully the cover itself is useful to a collector.
