Description

You are bidding on a RARE genuine 3rd Mono pressing of the Beatles debut LP "Please Please Me".

The label is the yellow and black parlophone label. It doesn't have the "recording first published 1963" text or "the sold in the uk" text (see photos). It was pressed in the early summer months of 1963.

The matrix numbers are:

XEX 421-1N

XEX 422-1N

The mothers and stampers are:

Side 1- 2 RL

Side 2- 1 GT

CONDITION: Vinyl

VG (play grade)

The vinyl has lots of light marks and scratches. I have play graded it and it plays through without any skips or jumps. There is some background noise which is particularly noticeable in the quieter parts, however the sound isn't too bad and is loud and clear throughout. Yes, there is the odd pop and click but considering, it's not that bad and it certainly doesn't overpower the sound.

CONDITION: Sleeve

VG

The sleeve is in reasonable condition. It has no writing, etc. It has a seam split on the bottom edge of about 4". Quite grubby. Spine intact and legible. See photos.

This is an early and rare pressing, and whilst not by any means perfect is still a collectible and hard to find edition. It plays well enough to listen to and would likely be better if professionally cleaned.

Low start and no reserve!!! Happy to combine shipping on multiple buys.
