Description
This is an ultra rare 45 RPM record recorded at Sundown Records in Greenville SC in the late 1970's. The band is called "Point of View" and the songs are "Frisco, Disco"(Leo Adams, Sunart Music, BMI) and "Why Don't You Get Up" (Denver Wright, Sunart Music, BMI). Produced by Babe Williamson, Bruce Freeman For Art Productions. SDS 72429A. Very cool Disco music. Does not have a sleeve. No gouges or warping.
My parents took me to see "Point of View" at a mall promo gig when I was around 5 or 6. I had so much fun dancing, my parents bought this single for me and had it signed. It says "Paige a very cute lady. Stay sweet. Love Raje P.O.V." I unfortunately, can't find the names of the band members. If anyone has any information about this band, please let me know.
You can hear what Frisco Disco sounds like on Youtube. Just type in "POINT OF VIEW Frisco disco Sundown rec". Ebay will not allow me to post the website. The record in the video is NOT the record for sale in this listing.
Record is in VG+ condition. Here is a description of what that means.
Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.
The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. The center hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Buy with confidence. I have 100% positive feedback.
