Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES'  5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

I have just had the pleasure of listening to her rich and rounded audio reproduction all the way through. I found a tiny and very occasional amount of background noise-not during the songs, mainly inbetween songs and in the run-ins-which will surely be improved with a gentle clean.
Only light marks to her-which CERTAINLY DO NOT MAKE HER SKIP OR JUMP
Lovely rich sound reproduction.
A gentle professional clean will help.


Labels: VG+. Lovely and clear... There are many light spindle marks-visible when angled towards the light....Notnoticeable when looking straight down onto them.
Has the 1st type Sans Serf text.
 Outer text "The Gramophone co.LTD"
 DOES have the "Sold in the .U.K." text.

IT ALSO HAS AN EXTRA DOT ON SIDE 1, SOLD IN UK TEXT:
"SOLD IN .U.K."
THE DOT BEFORE THE 'U' IN UK! I have only seen this a few times and always on the 1st pressings of Help.

THE LABEL ALSO HAS THE CREDIT OF "LARK MUS." FOR TRACK 1, SIDE 2, RATHER THAN THE LATER PRINTING: "LARK MUSIC"
ALSO
Track 4, side 1 has the '*' AFTER the "I Need You Title" rather than the later printing, which put it BEFORE the song title.

With minimal rubbing to the corners.
ONLY 1 tiny crescent of spidering near the opening, with some small fingers emanating from the spine, to this lovely white, laminated cover.
A small amount of light feathering near the opening...nothing bad at all.
 WHITE card backing too!

One side has a split which is very fine and around 1/3 of the length.
