About This Record.  NO COVER!  VINYL Only!  [For those of you "watching" this, sorry to raise my minimum bid after 5 days, but I do not want to lose too many hundreds of dollars on this rare LP.] This is a Holy Grail KILLER Garage Psych Private Press from 1968 on Fredlo Records.  I pesonally recommend this, and offer full refund for any buyer who is located anywhere in the world!  Only a handful of covers were [ever issue for this garage psych fuzz LP! Tons of screams and fuzz, no lame songs here  no ballads! Here’s is an exceptionally rare vinyl only (NO cover) offering from my collection in nice VG+ condition (one side is strong VG and other is EX-) SEE exquisite details below.  Or skip to the details of the vinyl and label and cover.  I rarely spend the time to describe an LP I have for sale, but this is one that folks seem not to know a lot about, so here goes . . .

I am at least the third and I suspect fourth owner of this RARE Garage fuzz private psych LP from Iowa from 196? On Fredlo Records by The Inside Out!  About ½ (I am skeptical) likely fewer were released with a cover, . . . but 150 at best?  The lore on this LP varies, as well as accounts of its contents. Please skip down to the explanation of the item’s condition as shown in the title if you would like . . . but here goes

The History of this important LP is that Tom Tourville turned this vinyl only copy up somewhere in the Midwest in the 1990's and eventually sold it to that noted collector who lives in a cave in a secret undesignated location somewhere in Italy (or at least he/she/it used to): Jacopo The Caveman.  This happend in 1996 per the inscription/writing on the cover (see plain white thick LP cover with inscription  writing to Jacopo from Tom Tourville).  As part of the agreement when I purchased this (the lighting was dim in his cave, so I trusted him), I cannot disclose the whereabouts of where Jacopo lives but if you don't believe me I can post your question and he might respond about the history or how I . . . and now you . . . might become the owner of this.  Anyway, when Jacopo needed some money to take care of his Uncle and had to come out of his cave for provisions, I was lucky to purchase this from him.  Along with some other cool stuff that is not yet and may hopefully never be for sale.  Anyway, the writing on the cover from Tom Tourville (hard to read but tried to photograph) is repeated below in the description of the LP

In Wright's opinion, this is one of the best garage fuzz private LPs ever released, as Jacapo promised me, and as Tom allegedly did him.  There are NO throw away songs here.  They play standards but depart from them by straying toward the psych fuzz end of the garage spectrum kind of like the Litter in their Distortions LP, instead of the soul RnB specturm.  I am not sure if they respect or make fun of the RnB soul influence, but more of it than the Litter LP, but an equal amount of Fuzz over the RnB that I think just is uncomparable.  While you may roll your eyes at some of the standards the Inside Out play when you look at the songs on the labels (again, there is no cover, very few covers were released with this LP, such as Give Me Some Lovin . . .I am listening to Give me Some Lovin now and, just like when I thought this might be time to take a bathroom break . . . before the usual souly RnB vocals kick in, I hear a loud SCREAM and then some major reverb and then fuzz guitar as The Inside Out warns you about the journey you have been on.  Fire is an incredible swirl of fuzz . . .as is Summertime Blues . . . did they do their summertime blues before Blue Cheer in 1968 . . . I like The Inside Out’s version better . . . more mindless fuzz and charm  And the Farsfisa touch is so cool . . .

No ballads here like on the Foul Dogs, or the Fantastic Dee Jays, or Rising Storm or other similar LPs . . . These guys are relentless and rank toward the left righteous end of the spectrum along with my faves The Litter, but I think the Litter sold out on some songs on their killer Distortions LP although People disagree. 

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And two plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Cover Condition: This copy was one of most that did not come with a cover.  But it does have a solid plain white cover where Tom Tourville, noted midwest vinyl LP collector and author, wrote to the purchaser:  "To Caveman Jacopo-- Dig This Great, Rare Inside Out LP nobody else has it!!  All the Best  Keep Rockin' Your Pal Tom Tourville 1996. Please See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: VG The vinyl looks VG-/VG . . . with some noticeable but light scuffs from the stylus and some paper marks . . . but nothing nasty!  So the Side with Gloria plays VG- to VG for a small part of each of the first three songs; the other songs on that side play VG+ to EX-.  The other side plays EX-, so VG+.  Light background noise, consistent with all copies of this pressing!

Inserts: Comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!  OH my gosh!!.

Labels:  EX with spindle marks but NO writing or tears or sticker residue or nasty stuff like that!  Yes, both these labels are survivors!  (see photos of all labels)

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.
