Description

Im reposting this because the original posting had the wrong play test notes from another similar Presswell RL that was in worse condition.

VG RL SS Led Zeppelin II 1st Press PR PRESSWELL Bob Ludwig Hot Mix Rare

Media: VG+

Play Tested: plays throughout with extremely minimal background noise and crackle pop factor. One forward skip at the very beginning of A2. In the opening words of A2 “And If I Say” on the word “I” it forward skips one grove then the rest of the entire album plays through with no skips.

However A4 “Thank You” plays all the way through but has a backwards repeating stick after the music has died down to silence and is entering the headway area. If it weren’t for this, I would rate this EX condition. If you have an auto-return model you Will have to get up off the couch to return the arm to the off position.

Cover: VG+, with a small white tear in the paper upper right corner of the front. Slight abrasion or surface wear signs in the white part of the back. Inside gatefold is Mint. No seam splits.

Original inner sleeve: EX

In my opinion, the Presswell is the best quality and loudest of all pressings. PR pressing has an extremely small/thin runout dead wax area compared to other RL pressings. Some believe this results in more information or deeper grooves. Recently, a VG+ Presswell version sold for the highest among others listed by the same others with the same rating but all three from different plants.
