PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Ultra rare Beastie Boys Licensed To Ill lot including a promotional 1st pressing LP from 1986 and in-store display. LP is a beautiful VG++/NM- and cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a tiny nick in the bottom left hand corner on the rear. Gold promo stamp in the upper left hand corner. Includes original Def Jam inner sleeve. Also included in this auction is an incredibly rare 24" X 12" in-store promotional display manufactured by CBS Records in 1987. This was purchased from a former Tower Records (R.I.P.) manager who told me that 99% of in-store displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Staff saw them as disposable swag and as a result VERY few survived. Rare as hens' teeth.
