Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
MEGA RARE Elektra tan label EKL-74011 MONO label variant with side indicators to the left of the center hole, catalog number solely to the right and ONLY a publishing and producer credit at the bottom in a single line each!!!! Cover has stereo text and catalog number in the top left hand corner on the front and top right hand corner on the rear but mono covers were never printed. Elektra used stereo covers and simply placed a mono catalog number sticker over the stereo text so it's possible the a sticker was never affixed to this one mistakenly. Release year is most likely 1967 but I cannot confirm this as there is not a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever. I have had well over 10 copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but I have never seen this variant before. Absolutely rare as hell so don't sleep. Includes original printed inner sleeve as well! LP is VG+/VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs and cover is VG/VG+ with a tiny seam at the bottom middle.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
