PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Fela collectors take note - up for action is an original 1970s pressing of his live album with Africa '70 and Cream's Ginger Baker on a Signpost label variant I have never seen before. I've had well over a dozen copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but this is the first time I have ever seen this label variant with the catalog number SP 8401 on top and to the right of the Signpost logo! Not even a Discogs entry for this one. Rare as hens teeth. LP is VG+/VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs and cover is VG+ with a small one inch split on the bottom middle.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
