"AIN’T NO GREENS IN HARLEM" backed with "WIND UP TOY"
Mandala Records # 45-2511
An amazing Soul 45 two-sider pressed on the Mandala label from Nashville, Tennessee. It was released in 1972. Although we do not know the exact number of how many of these were pressed, it was certainly not many, which is a shame because Ain’t No Greens In Harlem is a very cool Funky song with a great bass line throughout. Wind Up Toy is a Sweet Soul number. This 45 came from a great collection of rare vinyl we recently purchased in Nashville. It will make an outstanding piece for a collection of rare Funk or Soul records.

The sound clips were recorded from the actual 45 being offered, with no filtering or enhancing of any kind.
Under a lamp the vinyl shows a bit of light surface scuffing and one visible light scratch on the Wind Up Toy side (which cannot be felt on the grooves). There are a few very small light, smooth pressing bubbles which cause no playing problems. The labels have a little staining in some areas but are otherwise in nice shape. This record plays with ticking & surface noise and has no skips or repeats on either side.
This 45 will be placed between pieces of cardboard inside a paper 45 sleeve for protection during shipping.
