Description
This is a very fine copy from a 1998 numbered, limited edition reissue on the German Little Indians label of the uber-rare sole LP by New Jersey group Victoria. The group assembled their LP in 1971 using tracks recorded over the previous two years, and pressed it privately in small quantities as a demo. They remixed the tracks soon after and added some press materials, creating a promo LP that they (re)titled Kings, Queens & Jokers. The record combines six short tracks on side 1 with two longer tracks on side 2, and mixes pop and rock with a West Coast vibe and (on the longer tracks) a proto-progressive feel. The record is housed in a thick cardboard jacket sheathed in red velvet with gold embossed images and print. The jacket of this copy is still in shrink wrap, and is like new -- M(-). The record is hand-numbered 150/400 on the back cover. The disc has a ½” scrape at the start of track 2, side 2, that has no appreciable effect on play, and is otherwise clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs.
