You are bidding for a CLASSIC 60'S ROCK 'N' ROLL 45 rpm EP by VINCE TAYLOR AND THE PLAYBOYS called MEMPHIS TENNESSEE issued on the BARCLAY record label in FRANCE in 1965, cat number 70 616 (LARGE CENTRE). Side 1; MEMPHIS TENNESSEE, SHOT OF RHTHM N' BLUES. Side 2; JOUOR APRES JOUR, TU CHANG'RAS D'AVIS. The record is in excellent condition with little wear and no surface scuffs and scratches and plays with no clicks and jumps and a minimum of surface noise. The labels are excellent . The ORIGINAL PICTURE sleeve is also excellentwith just slight corner creasing. CLASSIC UK ROCK AND ROLL EP from VINCE TAYLOR, with four outstanding ROCK 'N' ROLL tracks, including a cover of a LENNON MCCARTNEY song in FRENCH . Though discovered at the fames TWO I'S COFFEE BAR in London's Soho, and making some great records, he never had the hit he deserved in the UK. However he found fame in France , and his supurb LIVE PERFORMANCES caused hysteria and riots , and he made a series of outstanding rock and roll records, before letting it all go to his head , and declaring himself the Messiah.. RARE and hard to find in decent condition, great for parties ,from my own collection.
