Vincent Gemignani Modern Pop Percussion (Concert Hall) Cover EX / vinyl EX One of the timeless masterpiece of the french rare groove, an ambitious project trying to merge concrete/contemporary music and pop music. Simply impossible to file, this is a maelstrom of influence, from musical a la Michel Legrand ("Titania"), to Brasilian Jazz ("Liberalia"), to dark jazz funk ("Insidieusement Les Elfes"), to cinematic experimental landscape ("Megalopolis"), and of course the gigantic "Ophis Le Serpentaire", one of my favourite track of all time!
