Description
Made in Europe is a live album released by Deep Purple, recorded on the final dates in April 1975 before Ritchie Blackmore left Deep Purple. It was released in October 1976, after the group had broken up.
Made in Europe features songs recorded in concert 4 April in Graz, Austria, 5 April in Saarbrücken, Germany, and 7 April 1975 in Paris, France with the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio. According to the liner notes included on Mk III: The Final Concerts, though, the material featured on Made in Europe came, for the most part, from the Saarbrücken show.[citation needed] The album is said to have experienced extensive studio editing and/or overdubbing of crowd noise and applause.[citation needed] Certainly there is a tape-loop of applause, given away by a whistling fan.[original research?]
The songs featured on the album are from Deep Purple's Burn and Stormbringer albums.
In 1990, the album was remastered and re-released in the US by Metal Blade Records with distribution by Warner Bros.
This record, which had been out of print in the US, was re-released by Friday Music label on 31 July 2007 (along with Stormbringer and Come Taste the Band). While the label's website claims that the album has been digitally remastered, it is unclear which tapes were used as a source for this release.
The Graz and Paris concerts of which some of the content for this release is sourced from, have been released in full by Deep Purple (Overseas) Limited and Ear Music. It has just been announced that Deep Purple (Overseas) Ltd and UMG are working on a re-release. The exact track listing is not yet known but the whole release is going to be remixed. It is scheduled for that re-release in January 2015.

Year Chart Position 1976 Germany 10 United Kingdom 12 Sweden 25 New Zealand 32Please note : This is part of a private sale, I am not a dealer.
I have collected vinyl for over 45 years and have amassed appx 750 single and 350 albums, between the 60’s and 90’s until cassettes came out.
I have recently purchased a new stereo that copies vinyl direct to my PC so gradually I will be copying that vinyl that I wish to keep and this whole collection will be put on sale. I will therefore have played some to check their quality, but in the meantime some will be listed un-played, though I will have checked all for any damage or scratches. When an item then sells I will check the record is of the standard I have described and if not, then would immediately refund your money instead of posting and disappointing. If anyone though wishes me to check a particular item before bidding then I will do so. Please also note that the likes of David Cassidy, David Essex and similar are not mine but my wifes.
