From an estate purchase, we are selling the entire lot of vintage Armed Forces Radio Services records in one auction. They're very old because they were produced jointly by the War and Navy Departments no later than 1947 when the unit was reorganized. The records -- all about 16 inches in diameter and play at 33 1/3 speed -- were sent to local military bases to play for the troops in a variety of locations. A rare collection. These look like they were stored for years in moderate environment -- no warping but the paper sleeves are fragile and deteriorating. Most of the vinyl looks clean and probably rarely played -- if at all. Looking to find a home for the entire lot. We'll ship in a large oversized box to protect the records. Look at the titles and see if this collection is for you.
