Hi there
This is a vintage Dansette record player
Dansette Major Deluxe 21
Comes complete with matching hard record case (which i believe came with it) and quantity of 45's from the 1960s in original covers.
It's a valve driven, mono player - and as a result has a wonderful, warm tone.
It has all the record speeds - 16, 33, 45 and 78.
There was some crackle when I turned up the volume (I think this is common on old dansettes and easily sorted out) however when I left the volume control it sounded fantastic!!
The case is in overall good condition - with general wear and tear befitting a player of this age. The 'Dansette' at the front also lights up when the turntable is switched on.
Please NOTE - This is stil using a vintage two wire electrics system i.e. no earth. A new three pin plug has been put onto the two core flex but it is still not earthed and for safety's sake it should be. Instructions available on the internet but I recommend a qualified electrician do this.
