*  SUPER RARE in this amazing condition DOUBLE LP ALBUM FROM 1992 *  PLEASE READ IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE ABOUT VINYL.  THANK YOU !
*  This particular release is incredibly rare to find on Vinyl.  Released at the high point of the CD format takeover.  By 1988 CD overtook Vinyl and by 1991 it overtook Cassettes.  By 1992 Vinyl as a Album format was steadily declining ... I guess they just pressed a few of these just in case !
*  This Album was NEVER PLAYED ! *  How do I know ? *  It came from the factory in 1992, and I've had this stored ever since - and NEVER PLAYED IT ! *  Shaky has never really been my thing ...
*  In fact, the vinyl was never removed from the inner sleeve ! *  I only pulled it out to check the condition before listing this for sale. *  It was probably the first time that it has actually seen the light of day ! *  It's as you would expect.  Shiny and Mint, as it would have looked in 1992 !
*  I can't offer an opinion about the sound quality because I never played it, and I'm not going to.   *  It probably sounds like it was supposed to sound in 1992 ! *  I'm offering this for sale UNPLAYED and it will remain UNPLAYED. *  The FIRST ever time a needle touches the grooves and the music kicks in will be IF and WHEN YOU PLAY IT. *  You might not, you might put it in a display case and worship it.  I don't know !
*  This is the ORIGINAL UK / EUROPE PRESSING *  It is not a " Re - Issue " or " Re-Pressing ".   *  UK CATALOGUE NUMBER  -  EPC 472422 1 *  GENUINE PHOTOGRAPH ( please excuse my shaky hands or any shadows or reflections )
ABOUT THE VINYL *  The Vinyl is UNPLAYED to my knowledge. *  I inspected it before listing. *  HOWEVER, I did notice something. *  On side B, when holding this at a certain angle to catch the light I noticed 3 small " Shadows " or " Marks ", about 1 CM across.  I really don't know what they are.  They could be fingerprints.  I guess they are about that size and spacing.  As though somebody might have balance the record on 3 fingers.  Now, I don't know.  I have not touched them.  I never played this.  I have not touched the vinyl, except the edges, to inspect it.  If they are, they have been there for 26 years.  I certainly have not attempted to interfere with them. *  I TRIED to photograph this, but it is impossible to get a picture.  As I said, it's when the record is held at a certain angle to catch the light, and I can't catch it on camera. *  But, this really is as good as if you went into your local record store in 1992 and bought it.  Nothing is ever perfect.  Or was.  Except try telling that to a modern day Nintendo Game Collector.  They are more concerned with the cellophane " The Cellophane "  !  Look up the nonsense that is the Video Game Rating Authority ... *  Inside, the 2 Vinyl Discs are stored in the original plain paper inner sleeves as they would have left the factory in.
ABOUT THE SLEEVE *  The Cover is as Near enough MINT as you would expect. *  There is the tiniest " shelfwear " around the edges.  Nothing significant. *  It is the genuine Retail Stock, exactly as would have been sold in a " Record Shop ". *  This is basically what you would buy if you went into a record shop in the 1980s or 1990s. *  There was no such thing as the modern irrational fastidious about cellophane, never mind " is it Factory Sealed with Official Tear Strip ? " in those days. *  The record sleeves were put out on the shop floor, and yes, people picked them up and looked at them  *  This is the GENUINE RETAIL RELEASE, exactly as would have been found in a " Record Shop ". *  As you can see in the genuine photograph of the rear, there is a small sticker, about 1 x 2 inches. *  It says " Property Of Sony Music Demonstration Only Not for Sale " *  This does NOT mean it is a " Promotional Release ", " Promotional " or " A Promo " ( or even that it might not have been for sale ... ) *  This is the GENUINE RETAIL RELEASE, exactly as would have been found in a " Record Shop ". *    The sticker is there for many sorts of reasons.  We all know how - some - artists signed rather " interesting " contracts with quite " creative " accounting practices ( breakages * in the CD age for example ).  So whilst this is the genuine release, as would have been sold in a " Record Shop ", with the sticker on it, this would technically be " A Sample " by virtue of the sticker, to be given to journalists or DJs or Industry people or perhaps even Chart Return Retailers * as " A Sample " ... and of course with the sticker removed, well looks just like the stock out the back ...  It may well have turned up in one of the shops in Berwick Street without the sticker ... say no more.  ( See " Last Shop Standing " by Graham Jones  / " Hit Men " by Federic Dannen for some colourful anecdotes ... ) *  So, it's the GENUINE ARTICLE.  Just has a little sticker on the back.  I have not tried to remove it.  It would probably be unwise having been stuck there 25 years !
*  This would make an AMAZING GIFT for the SUPER FAN ! *  As a rare and irreplaceable item, I will not take any chances ! *  I will pack this with GREAT care.  I won't simply put in a flimsy mailer.  It's too precious ! *  As a rare and irreplaceable item, I will send this via a premium insured tracked Royal Mail service
