We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 1972 was a time when the band's own reputation as hippie hell-raisers was already being eclipsed by the soaring Hawkwind, kicked up the arse with addition of "Lemmy" and his rendition of TOP 10 U.K. hit "Silver Machine." ! ? So what do the Pink Fairies do, they twist up another joint and notch "What a Bunch of Sweeties" that found the band realigning themselves with burning fundamentals, the Americana rock sensibilities, if you will, of say the latter-day MC5 -- getting HIGH on their music and kickin' out the jams...Indeed, a nine-minute fuzz-psych assault on the Ventures' "Walk Don't Run" rates among the finest Pink Fairies recordings of all time...

After the awesome acid-fried heaviness of their FIRST album "Never Never Land," the Pink Fairies ditched the acid-injected floaters like "Heavenly Man", instead going for turned-up & turned-on riff mad jams! And with that ~ "Sweeties" ~ reveals itself as a thoroughly entertaining statement in undeniable *tunes* such as "Pigs Of Uranus" and "Portobello Shuffle", etc. etc. Fever pitched, raw & blistering to the back of the front core ~ Paul Rudolph's guitar explosives convulse with the grace of an unstable shotgun; as if paying homage to the heavy-psych gods above. Just picture a bellbottomed madman standing in front of a stack of towering Marshall tube amps being taken over by his own playing and you have this album.
Primarily recommended to fans of jam heavy sludge, stoner, psych, punk and space rock.
