Description
YOU ARE ABOUT TO BID ON A GREAT BOX SET
Amazing original 1982 box set from France, on the L'Invitation Au Suicide label, which commissioned Gavin Friday and the Virgin Prunes to create a work dealing with the concept of insanity.
Contains two 10" records + 5 art and lyric booklets. The first disc, consisting of seven songs, functioned as a soundtrack to the booklets. The second disc is a live recording of Virgin Prunes at the Rex Club in Paris in June 1982.
The booklets feature works by D'annunzio, Ken Russell, Sandro Bergamo, Huysmans, G. Bataille, Turmel, Philip K. Dick etc. Looking at the records overall they appear to be in Near Mint condition with a couple of very light, minor scratches and mostly just needs a gentle cleaning. The box does have wear on all edges and a couple of reparairable splits at the corners. I will combine shipping for the minimum cost per the post office
I hope you will look at all of my other items I have up for auction. I think you will be amazed by the variety and quality!!!
