Description
This 78 is super rare on any speed!!! The Violinaires were a Detroit group and were also The Gales on JVB and a couple of members were in The ? Marks on Swing Time. Calvin Fair and Isaiah Jones were in all three groups. The label name is a mistake; note Voilinaires, not Violinaires as it should have been! Recorded in 1953, songs are "Another Soldier Gone" and "Joy In The Beulah Land." Beautiful vocal group harmonies. Condition is E on Side 1 with a couple of scuffs and bubbling of the label around the center hole. Side 2 is a solid E with minor indentations in the label, most likely from the pressing. Gloss is excellent on both sides.
