DESCRIPTION

Some few years after the last sale on internet, here again a monster rare test pressing of this fantastic Voivod masterpiece. This copy was sent to one of the italian magazines at the time. The record shows some light surface hairlines, and is a full Vg+ to me, dont  feel this can make more but neither less of course. Labels are clean, there are no notes about the label, album, pressing date stamped on it. The record comes protected in a generic white inner sleeve with code 48/2/4, it is in excellent condition, it has no seam splits, there is a light and obvious but not obtrusive ring-wear. There is a black marker writing on the white inner cover spelling “VoiVod”. An A4 plain paper photocopied information sheet provides a short summary on release date (end of March 1988) and tracks list, promising that a cover sample would be available soon. ...And.... the cover arrived, it is a fantastic color copy, strong paper folded with front and back album cover artwork. It is touching to keep this piece in your hand. The cover is all in all in Vg+ condition, with small corner bends, few creases and a small 1cm tear on upper spine.

Grading is visual and quite conservative, several folks acknowledge with full satisfaction my severity, grateful for having graded vg+ records when actually they thought they were ex or more. Records are scrutinized during the day, first under direct sunlight and then under direct led-bulb light. I always try to avoid to over-grade records. I play the record any time I like it or any time a scuff is perceptible to the touch and then I report in the notes about the result. Please, see below for a detailed explanation of my grading scale.

Packaging. I use professional strong card board envelops designed for vinyls when packing your records. I add further protection tools, like stiffeners and pluriball. I separate vinyls from covers and vinyls from inner sleeves when they are not white generic, to avoid seam splits.

Payments: as per e-bay rules within 4 days maximum from the auction's end, otherwise a report for non paid item will be filed in order to re-sale the item after additional 4 days.

Note: I am normally able to pack and send all records sold through an auction within 2 days maximum, but it often happens that i can make it earlier the day following the auction's end. In any case, for all payments received by 10.00 a.m. CET the parcel is handed over to the courier the same day. For those received after 10.00 a.m. CET the parcel will be taken in charge by the courier the day after. The couriers pick-up service is scheduled each working day around 12 a.m. CET.

Buyers from outside Italy please do have a look at the different services, prices and estimated delivery time. Choose carefully between registered and normal economy. Economy mail is pretty cheap but will take few days and does not have a tracking number!
