VOX HUMANA amazing 1956 avant voice experiments Shipping Info  |  S/H info:   Description strange and wonderful mid 50s album billed as "...experiments in extension of human vocal range" and comes off like some sort of da-da prank. this one's hard to put into words, you gotta hear it to fully appreciate. click here for a must hear sound clip (and please note: MP3 was not made from this copy). from artist alfred wolfsohn, this is in my all time Top 5 for the folkways label and is one of my favorite avant/experimental LPs ever. rare original first edition here with full-color packaging and complete with insert. fantastic collection this week of vintage strange, obscure & esoteric LPs, maybe the best list i've ever put together. i've spent the past year or so ferreting away doubles of my all-time favorite albums and have added in some curiosities from my own collection. these should appeal to everyone from the avant garde crowd to the psych heads and (obviously) all you exotica freaks. everything listed today comes very highly recommended. no hype here, people!
