Description
The guy that started it all, so they say, Alan Freed & his Rock 'n' Roll Band, with a mega rare Album "Rock 'n' Roll Dance Party" featuring Jimmy Cavello & his House Rockers. this is a 1957 UK release on the Vogue Coral label, Cat. No. LVA 9066.This didn't sell very well at the time, so you probably won't see this on offer for some time if ever.
The Album is a mixture of Rock 'n' Roll dance band music, that does swing, I must say, and real rock 'n' roll stuff from Jimmy Cavello and band. Tracks are as listed in the picture, which is the back sleeve of the UK LP. Record is being offered as a collectors item as condition not as good as records I usually put up for sale.
- I would grade it between Good and VG condition.There is a fair bit of crackle and pop, but the music hides most of it. A fair number of surface scratches too.As I've said it, it is a very rare Album by the guy at the forefront of putting Rock 'n' Roll on the map, so serious collectors would be keen to have this one in their collection. Can't be fairer than that, so Good Luck if you're interested in bidding for this one.
