V/RARE-JIM REEVES-Making Believe-SA-RCA-78-EXC COND

Don't miss out this opportunity to take advantage of this great deal.

I am offering on this auction a MEGA RARE South African 78rpm pressing of JIM REEVES performing: SIDE 1: MAKING BELIEVE SIDE 2: IF HEARTACHE IS THE FASHION Teal Record Company in South Africa pressed this record on the Silver on Black RCA label. We have only ever seen one other example of these Jim Reeves tracks on 78 in 30 years of collecting. The pressing number is 71.371. The side 1 matrix is K2PP 1230/1, and the side 2 matrix is L2WP 1257/1. CONDITION. Playing surfaces are in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT Condition, showing light signs of play and storage. Both sides play through perfectly with slight surface noise. Labels are in EXCELLENT Condition with spindle rubs only (see photos). I am busy thinning my collection down, so I have listed many other 78 RPM 10" records, including many VERY SCARCE South African 78's, by different artists. This is a great opportunity to possibly obtain different RARE titles. These records do not come on to the market often. I've listed all my 78's with NO RESERVE, so I will let the real experts and collectors decide their true value. Please note that this item is being shipped from South Africa, which costs a lot more to ship from, packed correctly. Ebay only allows a maximum charge of $4 to be inserted into the listing, which does not apply with shipping rates from South Africa. Please enquire for exact shipping costs before bidding, if you have not bought from us before We will gladly combine shipping of multiple items won, to help save on shipping costs. Please wait for us to send you an invoice before you submit payment, if you are the winner of this auction. We take extra care in the packing of all our records (All 78's are sent very securely packed, boxed and cushioned in foam chips), ensuring a safe journey, and we do not charge extra for this service. Our feedback record bears testimony to this. 28
