Description
In a time when rock bands were pushing the limits of originality, Van der Graaf Generator carved out a path for many progressive hopefuls to follow. Much shorter tracks here than their following albums, yet each song is packed with intense themes and Peter Hammill's loud dramatic singing. Seriously heavy rock without the heavy guitars, but with aggressive as hell drumming. It's an original German pressing on Fontana. Cover is very nice with some shelf wear around the seams but no splits. There appears to be a few pressure marks on the back cover and three vertical lines, that aren't quite scratches. Maybe from being shelved away tight in a shelf for fifty years.? Who knows. A faded autograph of a previous owner exists on back cover, lower right corner. The vinyl looks great, only a bit of dust and a few tiny blemishes and will sound amazing on your Technics SL-1200G Grand Class.
