Description
This is Van Halen's most sought-after and valuable record ever. This is the 12" vinyl that Warner Bros sent to radio stations in January 1978 to promote their brand new band Van Halen. One side of the special red vinyl features Elmer Fudd wearing a Warner Bros hat and says "Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies". The reverse side lists the songs: "Runnin' With the Devil", "Eruption", "Ice Cream Man", "You Really Got Me" and "Jamie's Cryin'. Both the record and the die-cut sleeve have the "ORIGINAL" Van Halen logo that was ONLY used on this promo record. Few were actually made, and most are long gone,or used. This record is considered the "Holy Grail" by Van Halen collectors world-wide. Try finding one sealed in this condition. Record is also sealed in a Japanese acetate cover..double sealed for protection. Stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006. Comes from a smoke/pet free home.
