Description

Hi there my friends,
Up for sale is a truly special, rare, and cherished LP: an original UK first pressing on Warner Bros orange label of Van Morrison's prolific "Astral Weeks."
A record that continues to stand the test of time and music for the ages. From my personal collection. I am letting this LP go to create some more room on my shelves these days and save for school. Nice shine on that original laminated album cover sleeve and cool UK-style flip back as shown in photos. A rare and collectable pressing of this album.
All things considered, I give the vinyl itself a G+ rating. As seen in photos, the vinyl visually is quite nice and strikes as VG+ easily. The LP, due to age and perhaps some visible marks, has some playback challenges. I play test all LPs I list for sale. This legendary pressing and copy has the following three playback concerns: - Three to four light skips during the second verse of the opening track "Astral Weeks." - Rough play on Young Lovers Do. A rough play most of the track with plenty of skips. - Three skips on Cyprus Avenue.
This sounds like a lot I imagine, but the record actually is decent despite these. The main predicament is the rough playback mentioned on Young Lovers Do. Furthermore, I have priced the LP with these flaws in mind. It still makes for a great collection copy purely for value sake and the rarity of this pressing.
Thanks very much for your interest and best of luck bidding! Will ship with great care, precaution, and consideration! Thanks for your time, cheers!
