Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
(Warner Bros WS 1768 UK LP 1968)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve, & comes with its original polythene-lined company inner sleeve.
The record has has orange "Warner Bros" labels & 1st press A-1/ B-2 matrix stampers. Unfortunately there is a fault on the vinyl which is explained below. Original UK pressings of this LP are, surprisingly, very rare!
Sleeve: A name has been written on the rear. Otherwise mild ringwear & some mild laminate creases. VG+ condition.
Vinyl: Unfortunately there are two small jumps on the track "Ballerina". I can't really see what causes this, but it jumps on my system. Otherwise the vinyl has some light sleeve rubs, & about 4 hairline marks, that can be seen under a strong light. Fair condition. Looks VG condition. The labels are clean but show moderate spindle wear. Apart from the aforementioned jumps, the rest of the LP plays well. With only light crackle in some of the quieter places. There are a couple of light clicks also.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
Insurance is necessary if this item exceeds £40. Overseas buyers will add £5.25 extra (plus an additional £2.50 if the item value exceeds £70).
