VAN MORRISON MOONDANCE VINYL LP ALBUM 1970 #WS 1835 STEREO
Record
Vinyl album is in pristine condition. No scratches/skips or any flaws. Tested & plays beautifully.
LP Matrix Stamps in the run-out grooves that end in “-1” usually indicate the first/original pressing. The Matrix Stamps on both sides of this LP have “1” in the numeric suffix (see picture # 3)
The Matrix stamps on this LP read as follows:
(Side 1) 39621 WS1835A RE-1 -1B
(Side 2) WS-1835 39622 -1
Gatefold Cover
Cover is in great condition for age: no ring wear, labels/label peel-offs,scribbles or writing on any of the four gatefold surfaces. Spine is solid.
Flaws:
- 1½” split on lower back gatefold cover (picture # 4)
- Very minor wear along small segments(<50%) of the top and bottom seams
- Faint brownish (coke/coffee?) stains on the two inside gatefold pages (pic # 5) are noticeable on the white background of the liner notes
Labels
Green Warner Bros labels are in great condition. No ring wear, writing or residue on either side 1 or 2 (pics #7&8).
Van Morrison Poster
No writing. Rare 23”x34” B&W poster of Van Morrison is in very good condition for age. Poster came as album insert and is folded into six panels. No writing or scribbles. Some age discoloration & blemishes on blank reverse side that do not bleed through to front. Poster has never been framed, hung or displayed, so no tape fragments/residue or pin holes.
Poster flaws:
· Brownish yellow discolorations (zoom in on pic #8)
o top left & right corners
o yellowing in some folds
· ½ inch rip at bottom right corner (pic # 9)
Sleeve
Plain white paper sleeve shows age; yellowing along edges and a 4” split on one seam (pic #10)
