Van Morrison    "Tupelo Honey"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on WB 1950 from 1971.    This is a stereo white label promo copy.    It comes with the original glossy black and white poster.    This was his 4th album on Warner Brothers Records.   It has his big hit "Wild Night", which reached # 28 on 10/20/71.    The title song also gets lots of airplay.

This is an essential Van Morrison album and this is the rarest form to get it in.     White label promos are only pressed in limited numbers and only when this record was first issued.     

The poster is mint.    It is folded into sixths as it came in the record.     This poster is kind of hard to find.  

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record is M

The gatefold cover is VG+ with no seam splits.   There is light ring wear and a couple scuffs on the front.    There is a sticker that says : 'Contains The New Hit Single 'Wild Night' at top left.     There is a 1/2 by 1/2 cover tear at top right, but it's hard to notice because the cover is yellow.    The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a WB/Reprise inner sleeve. 

The songs are : Wild Night, Like A Cannonball, Old Old Woodstock, Starting A New Life, You're My Woman, Tupelo Honey, I Wanna Roo You, When That Evening Sun Goes Down, and Moonshine Whiskey.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 12 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 28 ounces ( 1 pound, 12 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
