Original Euro LP released in 1995 on Verve Records. Cat: 85291361. Only ever released in Vinyl in Europe.Although he has made his name in pop music, singer Van Morrison has long enjoyed jazz, particularly the singing and lyrics of Mose Allison (for whom he had previously organized a recorded tribute). This particular release finds Morrison teaming up with singer Georgie Fame (who also plays organ) and a top-notch group of mostly British jazzmen (tenorman Pee Wee Ellis is a ringer). The music is mostly blues- and jazz-oriented, with the highlights including "The New Symphony Sid," "Early in the Morning," "Sack O' Woe," "Centerpiece," a couple of Mose's better songs, and Morrison's hit "Moondance." A good introduction to Morrison's singing talents for jazz listeners not familiar with him, and a generally successful effort.

Record is in MInt condition. Cover has a few tiny marks on back and is in Near MInt condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
