FOR EXAMPLE

FMP  Records R1/R2/R3 recorded 1972-78. 3-LP SET OF UNIQUE ISSUED PERFORMANCES; none ever available anywhere else. All 3 LPs are in excellent shape—minimally played and unharmed.  Jackets each have date-of-purchase stickers placed on each by the previous owner. also occasional ballpoint asterisks next to favored tracks. Also includes a massive 12 x 12 black-and-white, art-bound documentary book—130+ pages, descriptively titled: Photographs – Documents – Statements – Analyses.  book in excellent shape, only minor creasing to the front cover. Also includes letter of transaction from previous owner’s acquisition of this piece. This is the definitive resource and compendium relative to the FMP concert series Workshop Freie Musik, from which all of these materials were drawn. In original packaging, a somewhat controversially light-weight slipcase for all the LPs and books that almost always is completely trashed and ragged.  This one is pretty good—some fraying at the open edges, one bent corner.  A treasured and hard-to-find FMP collectors item.

This is one of over 200 LPs being consigned on auction weekly between now and Spring 2007 from the well-kept and thorough collection of the late sculptor Bradford Graves, a key participant in the operations of New York performance space Soundscape. The collection ranges from Art Blakey to Han Bennink, with especially strong showings of Saturn, FMP, ICP, and US private pressings from the early Seventies. Some prizes and surprises in every batch. Bookmark this page for future reference. All records are play-graded by seasoned professional and scrupulously described. Reserves are at accepted market value. Paypal is preferred, though other accommodations can be made. Multiple wins shipping together will minimize postage costs. Winning bidders please respond within 3 days or risk being bypassed and reported. Buyer pays shipping of choice; all items handled and packed with care. Please raise questions with seller before bidding; shipping quotes also gladly made. Good luck to you!
