The album will be split into two halves – the first a compilation focusing on new material from the Shady camp while the second is a greatest hits piece. Disc one, labeled X, will play host to six songs from Eminem, including the previously released Sia-assisted number “Guts Over Fear”. Shady artists Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, and D12 are all included across the album’s 12 songs and there’s also a posse cut dedicated to the Dirty Mitten as Royce Da 5’9″, Big Sean, Danny Brown, Dej Loaf and Trick Trick join Slim for “Detroit vs. Everybody.” Disc two, or V, comes loaded with familiar songs from the label’s 15 year run dating back to 1999 when Em and his manager Paul Rosenberg founded Shady. Here, the team takes more of a look as past tracks from the gold and platinum past make up the highlights: 50’s “Pimp,” D12’s “Purple Pills,” and Yela’s “Pop The Trunk” among others. For a bonus track, there’s an original demo version of “Lose Yourself,” which is bound to please a lot of fans.
