Description
Up for bid is a rare 2 LP set, "The Raconteurs - Live in London (TMR 018)." This 2 LP set was pressed on heavyweight vinyl. Set also contains a White Stripes 7" (TMR 017) which features alternate takes of the original White Stripes debut 7" (Let's Shake Hands/Look Me Over Closely). Set also includes a Rob Jones Dead Weather print. This was released by Third Man Records in 2009. According to the internet - this is the entire second package from the Third Man Vault. Apparently you had to have the Third Man Vault Platinum Membership in order to mail order this, as it was not sold in stores. This is getting very difficult to find as a complete set! Grading is as follows:
Dead Weather print has no tears or creases.
45 is VG++, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on either side. Comes in a textured paper sleeve, with no creases, tears, or split seams. Vinyl is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Interior labels are extremely clean.
LP 1 is NM, with no scuffs, scratches, or spindle wear. There are several very small light colored spots in the dead wax before the first song on side two. These are not scuffs, but appear to have been pressed with just a touch of a light color mixed in the vinyl.
LP 2 is NM, with no scuffs, scratches, or spindle wear. There are several very small areas on side three that are lighter in color. Once again, these are not scuffs, but appear to have been pressed with just a touch of a light color mixed in the vinyl.
Thick heavy gatefold jacket is a solid VG+, with light wear on all seams and corners. There are no seam splits. Colors remains bright, and the entire jacket retains a nice gloss. There are a couple of small indentations in the center of the back of the jacket.
Both LPs are extremely clean and retain a nice gloss. All interior labels are extremely clean. Don't miss out of this rare set!
