Description

VEE-JAY'S INTRODUCING THE BEATLES, LP 1062, AUTHENTIC COPY

Includes Love Me Do

This record was purchased by my husband as a teen-ager.  The cover has no tears or writing on it.  The corners show usage (see photos) but the seams are intact.  George's shadow is very visible on the right side of the front cover.  On the spine is written VeeJay twice, Introducing The Beatles, and LP 1062.  The back cover has  VJ and under it is written Vee-Jay Records.  It is surrounded by brackets.  Side One includes:  I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Anna, Chains, Boys, Love Me Do.  Side Two includes: P.S., I Love You, Baby It's You, Do You Want To Know A Secret?, A Taste of Honey, There's A Place, Twist and Shout.

The inside paper sleeve pictures The Great Gospel Artists on VJ Records on one side and Other Fine Albums of Significant Interest on the other.  The seams on both sides of this sleeve are open about 3 inches at the top.

The label is the rainbow label.  Under the title it has VJLP 1062 with the numbers 63-3402 under that.  On Side 1, the date 6-29-63 is etched in the black band.  Also there is an A or a triangle followed by the number 5702.  Audio Matrix is in very small letters.  On Side 2, the number 63-3403 is etched in the band.  There is also an A or triange followed by the numbers 5702-X.  There are two letters in a small circle which may be MR but I can't be sure-it's just a little too small.

I do not see any obvious deep scratches.  I have played it through on both sides and there were no skips.

Please email with any apecific questions you may have.  If other pictures are needed, send your email address and which areas you would like to be photographed and I will send them to you.  Thanks for looking.
