Original US 7" copy of Northern Soul Classic "Happy" by Velvet Hammer on Soozi Records.
It is claimed in various places across the net that this is the source for Pharrel Williams' "Happy", but I'm not sure I can hear it. What I do know is that a youtube clip of a gorgeous young Northern Soul girl dancing to this and the Pharrel Williams hit went viral last year. If you don't know it, check it out on youtube.
In any case this is just an awesome - and rare - bit of soul on original 7" in VG condition.
Flip side is the fabulous "Party Hardy", making this worth twice the money!
